Appointment Terms and Condition
You may already be familiar with telecommunication appointments, but being as what I offer is such a vast array of modalities, let's discuss what your appointment could entail. Also, please note that in scheduling your appointment you agree to the Client Waiver below.
I am so honored to work with you. Please ensure the phone number you have on file is your preferred contact number, as I will be calling the number listed in your file at your appointment time.
1.INTRODUCTION
It is very important that you read this document carefully before you accept it. In purchasing your appointment, you are accepting this Jennifer Van Allen Services Agreement, and you are entering into a legally binding contract, so please consider carefully whether this Agreement is right for you and contact me before you proceed if you have any concerns. If anything in this Services Agreement is unclear, please seek independent advice to ensure you fully understand your rights and obligations. It is my aim to equip you to look after your own health and support your body’s capacity to shift and thrive.
Health is a dynamic process, so I prefer to work with those who are willing to address the underlying stresses and make changes to facilitate improved overall health and quality of life for themselves. If you do not feel you are willing to take the time and commit to creating change in your life, then this appointment may not be a good fit for you at this time.
In purchasing your appointment, you agree you understand that I do NOT Diagnose, Prescribe, Treat, or Heal.
2. WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR SESSIONS

Appointments are held via phone or online. FaceTime is preferred, however, Zoom is also available. If you prefer Zoom, it is important for you to let me know 48 hours before your appointment time through texting me at +1 757-679-6890 so I can set up a Zoom link for your appointment time. Follow-up appointments may also be conducted by phone, FaceTime, or Zoom.

Appointments are NOT recorded. If you wish to record your appointment, you must indicate this before the appointment so we can discuss recording options as there are some that work better than others.
3. APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE

When I first call, I will ask you some background information. I will also ask if you prefer to discuss lab results, genetic testing, and any other information you feel is important to you achieving your goals. NOTE: I do not Prescribe, Diagnose, Treat, or Heal. I will however discuss your current health goals and concerns with you.

Next we will delve into your personal emotional and physical health goals. I do not Prescribe, Diagnose, Treat, or Heal. I will join you in helping you achieve your goals. Most people don’t understand how to best ask the questions the body wants to answer to actually achieve their health goals. For example, I have had many people tell me they wish to get rid of their eczema, and are looking for which cream or supplement to help them do that. The truth is that again and again, I find that their eczema is an expression of undigested proteins, and the undigested proteins are often due to neural pathways that inhibit proper metabolic, methylation, and detoxification processes. We are going to find your goals and then move onto finding WHY your body isn’t yet achieving those goals.

Biofeedback is the next step as we delve into the WHY. We will find your personal story via Biofeedback Muscle Response Indicator scanning. This unique process is causing waves in the allopathic and naturopathic fields. There are chiropractors, medical doctors, psychiatrists, and more who are sending their patients to a Biofeedback Practitioner so they can access this life changing modality.

We will walk through a variety of modalities that best fit your needs to change the neural pathways, address the stresses, and support you better achieving your goals.

I encourage ALL patients to take notes to help connect their brain and body with the BioFeedback process and neural pathway shifting.
4. PATIENT PARTICIPATION

I love what I do and am so honored to come alongside you on your journey. That being said, please think of the things in your life you are willing to change to help you achieve your goals. Even the best health plans will be useless if they are never implemented. So, finding which places you are willing to make changes within your daily life is what we are looking to identify.
Topics to review before your appointment for us to identify places you are willing to make changes:

Turning off blue light or wearing blue blocking glasses in the evening

Changing your view on nutritional from the Standard American Diet (SAD), to a cellular level metabolic approach that nourishes the cells and cleanses and rebuilds the tissues

5. ASKING QUESTIONS BETWEEN SESSIONS

There are times you may have a question in between appointments. I am happy to answer a quick question about the items we have already discussed, but again I will not Diagnose, Prescribe, Treat, or Heal. If you have a question about a particular supplement, food, or the like, it is important to discuss that during your appointment time so we can discuss your personal health stresses, goals, and concerns. There are many supplements that are wonderful, but it doesn’t mean that the supplement, food, or health approach is the best match for every person all the time. Appointments are the time to discuss these questions so you can have an individualized approach for your personal health goals.

Customized Nutrition Approaches take a significant amount of time, often using expensive nutrition software and in depth conversations. To help keep appointment costs low, I do not include a meal plan in standard appointment time. However, if you feel that you are someone who requires a meal plan to stay on track, then you are welcome to book an appointment specifically with that as the main topic of the appointment. I love teaching and equipping people, so another option I have created is the I AM Valuable Course to give you the tools to better understand cellular level metabolic approaches to nourishing our bodies.
6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

If you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will honor a credit for you to have an appointment at a more convenient time. As a small business, I do not offer refunds.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

You agree that you will not hold me responsible for any costs, loss, injury, or damage that you might experience as a result of working with me, including and not limited to, releasing me from any and all legal costs you may incur.

You agree that your participation in your appointment, including all activities that you may choose to undertake in association with your appointment, is entirely voluntary. You expressly agree that you have personally researched the risks involved and made a conscious decision to proceed, and that you willingly accept all foreseeable risk of injury or damage that may arise from your participation.

You expressly agree that if this clause is unenforceable for any reason, my total cumulative liability for all causes of action of any kind shall not exceed the amount that you have paid to me under this Agreement.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You agree to not share health approaches, handouts, instructions and guides, eBooks, courses, course materials, research, or other information without first seeking written permission from Jennifer Van Allen. I Reserve All Rights over any health approaches, handouts, instructions and guides, eBooks, courses, course materials, research, or other information provided to you.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Mutual Non-Disparagement We each agree not to publicly or privately disparage the other, but rather shall act in good faith to refrain from any conduct or communication which may interfere with the business and/ or personal interests of each other.
